Youth Rules & Regulations
Mixed Martial Arts is a very physical sport and I would contend that it is one of the most complete sports utilizing all areas of fitness; endurance, strength, power, flexibility and strategy. Due to the striking and grappling elements, MMA needs regulations to make it safer for younger athletes. The benefits of training are first and foremost health and fitness but MMA also improves the child's self-discipline and self-esteem. All sports can pose a threat if driven by unqualified and poorly informed coaches. The basis of this project is not only to ensure a safe environment, but it also brings to light contemporary coaching and practice techniques. The practise sessions are based on research and the mobile application of the website, allows for the coaches of Zoo EXTREME Sports Performance to assist in educating master trainers and coaches. Our coaches enable gyms, teams and programs that do not have access to higher training and education, to learn and thus improve their practices, delivery and connection with their athletes.
